Logos Christian School - Nairobi

Logos Schools is a ministry of the Nairobi Chapel. It was established to provide an alternative education in response to the growing need for a genuine, Bible-based Christian Education.

The school provides a nurturing and Biblically based learning environment in which children develop their abilities, and are equipped for effective, God glorifying lives.

Our aim is to provide distinctively Christian education for children in Nairobi and it’s environs. We partner with the church and the home in providing holistic education to our children. The education offered is God-centred, aiming at helping children to grow spiritually, physically, socially and mentally. All learning is founded upon Christian principles with the objective of helping the children develop a Biblical perspective to all of life.

  • Staff are expected to creatively teach, nurture and disciple the children. Children ‘made in the image of God’ are encouraged to develop their faith, character, intellect and gifts

Spark

Logos firmly believes that every child is a reflection of God and is uniquely gifted and with this in mind, an emphasis is laid on developing godly character in children who have the SPARK of life.

Spiritual Development

Children should be bold and confident in life and their faith. These should be prayerful and able to clearly and confidently express themselves in defending and giving reason for their faith.

Psycho-Physical Development

Children should have godly values that dictate how they live their lives and the choices they make. Some critical values are; Passion, Responsibility, Independent thinking, Confidence, and Exemplariness. These should be taught and instilled and progress tracked throughout the year. Physical health is critical in the well-being of each child and Logos activities are intentionally designed to ensure the overall well-being of the learner.

‘K’ Community Impact

Children will be passionate about righteousness and will therefore be able to bring positive changes to society for the sake of God’s kingdom through Prayerfulness, Righteousness, Integrity, Critical thinking, Excellence/ Exemplariness(PRICE)

Academic Excellence

Children will be able to apply the things they learn in school outside the school because what they learn is meaningful

Relational IQ

Soft/ essential skills are critical for all to communicate, collaborate, and be effective and efficient. By learning to regulate their emotions or empathize with another, children develop people skills that are required for healthy living across all fields.
